Born on 9 October 1998 in Santa Helena, Brazil, Ribeiro Costa began his journey in the youth ranks of Pinheiros before making the move to Europe with French club Valenciennes in 2017. His performances were further validated when he played a pivotal role in Sundowns' African Football League triumph, helping them defeat Wydad Casablanca in the final in November 2023.
